Leafers
November 12, 2007

This is where I went to be a leafer!
On the way back from my banquet, I decided to take a small side trip and check out the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, WV. I have driven across this bridge countless times on my way to various races in the south. The bridge is part of US-19 which connects I-79 and I-77 in WV. Its a huge short cut across the state.

Normally when I drive here, I have a big truck or a trailer behind me so I can't go sight seeing. Well, this trip I had a chevy Avalanche and so down the road I went. The views of this man made marvel are stunning and being it leafer season, it made a wonderful back drop for the bridge. Click on the picture to view my slide show.

It is so hard to belive that summer is over and now fall is almost over too! My crazy schedule with the 2007 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series has finally winded down and now it's time to get back to the old website. Every fall, I say that I am going to work on and update my website and of course it never happens!

More Banquet Pics
Right now I am back stage at the annual ATVA National Motocross Series banquet in Pigeon Forge, TN. Yes, Pigeon Forge Tenneesseessee or whatever it is. Now, when I was told that I had to drive 9 hours south to PF I was not to excited. Now that I am here, well I am still not to excited. PF is a tourist town much like a branson, Missouri or a Las Vegas Nevada, however instead of crappy shows and casinos, PF has crappy shows and is obcessed with Christmas. I mean it's everywhere. 10 miles out of town when I got off the interstate, there were light up snow flakes on EVERY power pole, and as I got closer to the tourist hell, Christmas lights began to show up on everything. Its crazy. Click on the images above for my fall photo albums.
